——赠贵州旅京诗人刀
——to the Poet Knife who comes from Guizhou and Travels in Beijing
光头刀
Knife，bare-headed，
光膀子的刀
stripped to the waist，
戴着一付近视镜的刀
wearing a pair of near-sighted glasses，
围着油腻的围裙的刀
with an apron around his waist，
从云贵高原一路砍杀过来的刀
has slashed his blades all the way from
刀起刀落
the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau，with his knife rising and falling，
刀剁水洗
chopping and being washed in the water.
就这样用寒光闪闪的利刃
with such a sharp blade glittering like frost and snow，
在闪闪寒光中
in a sparkling dazzling gleam，
把你司空见惯的繁琐
he cooks trivial details you have been accustomed to seeing
做成了你朝思暮想的美味
into delicacies you are yearning for day and night
做成？你魂牵梦绕的另一种食品
into another tasty food that lost in a reverie.

With the knife in their hands to cut paths through the

it doesn’t matter whether one has a magic weapon or not，

nor does it matter whether one has the grandest title or not.
在北京？有钱的是爷
In Beijing，those who have money are lords，
有权的是人民公仆
while those who hold power are people’s servant.
真的朋友？？在北京
true friends in Beijing
有钱的随时都有性生活
can enjoy casual sex anytime if you have enough money
没钱的可以幻想性生活
and can enjoy casual sex in one’s mind if you have no money.
哇噻？砍从汉诗的源头砍起

from where the fine hair grows thickest on its body

actually life itself could be poeticized，
更何况我们手里有刀
what’s more，we have knives in our hands，

A knife is really a sharp implement.

and men’s penises，like knives.

Cut the endless sorrow with a sword，and it will grow heavier，

and if you cut running water with a sword，it will flow faster.
那样？就不如把诗做成可口的菜

trek thousands of meters and bury the plum blossom at

the belly of fancy carp in the Yellow River with sympathy.

And they toast each other，
