Statue 101：Old Fur·The Fur I Have Never Known
——谨以此诗献给福建诗人老皮先生
To Mr.Old Fur，A Poet Living in Fujian Province
能称得上老皮的皮子
The fur deserves to be called “old fur”
一般都是多年生的
it is generally a rare hide
偶蹄动物身上
which a hooved animal wore to protect itself
披着的？难得的御寒之物
against the cold for many years
三冬四夏？？没有经历过
or at least going through several summers and winters.
三冬四夏的皮子
Or if somebody call the fur that hasn’t weathered several summers
或曰没有经历过
and winters or hasn’t suffered
冰冻霜打的皮子
the frozen snow and violent frost
如果有人称其为老皮
an old fur，then I am afraid that
恐怕连这张被称为老皮的
even the face of the so-called “old fur”
皮子？？自己也会觉得
would blush for itself.
脸红的
我们可以想象一张伸展得
We could imagine such a nice-looking
十分好看的皮子
fur，just like a full-fed jelly fish，
吃饱了喝足了的水母一样
stretching itself in a pool
在一汪盛满硝水的液体里
full of liquid of aqua fortis
上下翻动的样子
turning about up and down.
我们可以想象一万根柔软发亮的毛
and we could imagine millions of hair，
挤在一起
soft and shiny，standing squeezed together
站在一张品相极好的皮子上
on a fur of excellent condition
疯狂舞蹈的样子
and dancing crazily.
这时的皮子长发飘飘
the fur at this moment must be full of energy and
这时的皮子精？气？神儿实足
in high spirits with long hair floating.
这时从樟州到北京的火车上
Just then on the train from Zhengzhou to Beijing，
总有一个满脸大胡子的男人
there is always a man with full beard all over the face
沿途兜售着
peddling on the way
一首又一首比蝌蚪还要好看的
poems，one after another，more beautiful than
装在矿泉水瓶子里的诗歌
the tadpoles in his mineral spring water bottle.
这时在北京在王府井在
while at that moment，right at the classical studio of CCTV，
天伦王朝对面的中视精典工作室里
opposite to Tianlun Dynasty Hotel in Beijing，
总有一首又一首滑溜溜的
a pack of poems，each one being so greasy，
长得比大白鲨还大的组诗
larger than the white shark，
正不服气的？被
is being reluctantly pressed
安琪和老巢按在
by Angel and Old Nest
由能称得上老皮的皮子
on a sofa sewn from
缝制的沙发上？由
the old fur that is worthy of the name，
光头刘气喘嘘嘘的拆
and torn apart by a breathless bald-headed guy.
那哈？？这时谁要是喝高了
At that moment，if anyone who gets drunk
失口喊一声？老皮
cries “old fur”with a slip of the tongue，
这时一定会有一块长发飘飘
there must be a shiny fur
皮毛发亮的皮子
with floating long hair that makes you
舒服得浑身发软那儿发硬？
so comfortable that feel faint all over and hard in the penis.
这时谁都不会知道
then nobody would know that
真正能称得上老皮的皮子
the fur who really deserves to be called Old Fur，
大大的裤叉子里
in his big and loose underpants，still has
还有几瓶装满诗歌的矿泉水
several mineral spring water bottles full of poems.

呵呵，我和老皮从没谋面，只是从安琪的介绍和阅读老皮的诗作中略知一二，但从心底就想“拆”他，如果哪天真的碰面，我还真不一定认出来。哈哈，皮兄，对不住了啊.......
It is a real pity that I have never met the poet Old Fur，so I just know a bit about him through Angel’s introduction and through reading his own poems.However，I really want to “analyze”him from the bottom of my heart.So I composed the above poem.Supposing that one day we really come across each other，I am not sure I can recognize him -so I beg your pardon，my brother Old Fur.

能用墨水做子弹的人
He who can take the ink as bullets
才是高手
is a true master.
在血流成河
In the days when two armed forces confront with each other
或两军对峙的日子里
and Blood is flowing over the ground like water，
能够驾驭墨水
he who can command the ink，
能站在油黑发亮的墨水之上
moving upon the face of the shiny glossy black ink
逆水行舟的人
and sailing against the current，
才是高手
is a real superior.
有道是？墨高无顶
It is said that a literary creation in ink is too high to have top end
墨深无底
and too deep to have bottom end.
两山之间捡来一个渊字
Between two mountains there forms an abyss.
被一方二龙戏珠的端砚
So literature，just like the abyss，has been soaked in
整整浸泡了千年
a precious ink slab for thousands of years.
有道是
So a saying goes that
渊则博
in a sense profound is just broad.
能与墨水做情人的人
He who can make the ink their lover
才是高手
is proficient.
在纸迷金醉
In the days when people lose themselves in a material world
或天隔一方的日子里
or distance keeps people apart
能够把墨于方寸
the nobleman who can control the ink with delicacy
示爱于千里的千千君子
and expresses his longings for friends far away
才是高手
is a real expert.
道德伦丧或世风日下的光荫里
As the moral degeneration is getting worse day by day
守得住墨水的人
he who can stick to the ink
就守住了疆山
can hold his own territory.
守得住墨水的人
He who can insist on the ink
自会受宠于千爱万爱于一身
will gain grace of all kinds.
守疆土如此
It is true in defending your territory，
守美人亦如此
so is it in possessing a beauty.
与墨水结缘的人
He who makes affinity with the ink
或运筹帏幄于天边一隅
will either devise strategies and make decisions remotely
或兵不见刃于远疆番篱
or defend their boundaries，gain victory with unstained swords
挟沙场于瓷盘
and put the battlefield on the porcelain chessboard
于畲草锤制的生萱之上
or on the pure rice paper with excellent workmanship.
痴癫狂扫挥撒泼墨
He would wield a brush and splash ink with madness and crazily，
把玩疆场于毂掌
holding the battlefield as well as a mighty force
把玩千军于毂掌
within the palms of his hands.
狂傲霸丗之风
He would show a wildly arrogant and conquering air
在墨水的匀？稠？？疏？密间
among the ink thick or thin，proportional or sparse
势如烽火
whose posture looks like beacon fire
形似狼烟
whose shape resembles smoke signals.
把玩墨水的人
He who does stuff with ink
丹田似有三军蠕动
has a wriggling mighty force at their elixir fields.
吐纳可令万马出征
His breath would make millions of troops go on an expedition，
四更天让国旗一寸寸升起
make the national flag lift inch by inch at dawn，
五更后可致山河乾坤挪移
and make the mountains and rivers，Heaven and Earth
傲视群雄的霸气
move at daybreak.His dominating charisma
气吞山合的神韵
and majestic charm
惟五夫六丁之仰望
would be admired and praised awfully by everyone
唼思与百解之中
and be fathomed and pondered over again and again.
把玩墨水的人
Sometimes he who does stuffs with the ink
有时也会傻傻的站在花椒树下
would stand silly under a Chinese prickly ash
弄不清哪一朵盛开的
and get confused as to which blooming flower is
是他十六岁时认识的白玉兰
the white magnolia he knew at an age of sixteen.
把玩墨水的人
Sometimes he who does stuff with the ink
有时也会傻傻的站在柿子树下
would stand silly under a persimmon
弄不清哪一朵盛开的
at the loss of which bloomy flower is the melon flower
是他十二岁时同桌的方瓜花
his desk-mate loved at the age of twelve.
在把玩墨水的人和我叫劲的时候
When he who plays with the ink competes with me
大卫这小子
David，the bloke，
总是端着一盆洗脚水
always holds a basin of foot washing water
看着我的背影偷着乐
and chuckling behind my back.
在我和把玩墨水的人叫劲的时候
